Please help us stay on satellite in 2025!
Have you been enjoying our ADtv Streaming Over the Past Years?
It was in 2010 that Amazing Discoveries first broadened its horizons to reach greater parts of the world by broadcasting via satellite on Galaxy 19. For 15 years, we have been broadcasting 24/7 on the topics of health, creation-evolution, current events, history, Christian living, and Bible prophecy.
Amazing Discoveries’ satellite broadcasting has blessed many thousands around the world and has caused many to take a stand on God’s Word through our 24/7 broadcast.
However, Satellite TV viewership has dramatically dropped since 2015 in favor of internet streaming services and we have seen a noticeable decline in satellite use in general over the last five years. We knew that one day it would no longer be an effective way to reach souls for the Lord’s Kingdom, due to the costs and lack of viewership. We would like you, our faithful supporters, to be part of this decision.
Our research shows that a majority of our viewers are watching ADtv on our other streaming platforms:
AD’s platform https://adtv.watch , ios and Android apps, mySDATV, RokuTV, AndroidTV, LGTV, SamsungTV, Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, and Freeview TV in the UK.
All of these platforms offer our streamed programming including our ADTV 24/7 channel and our video on demand. Aside from the ios and android apps all the other platforms listed are available to view from your TV!
Based on this shift in our audience to the internet, we have thought to move away from satellite completely as there is not enough support to cover the cost of the satellite. We know that some of our viewers that do not have internet access will be impacted by this change and if God provides, we would like to see this channel continue to be aired on as many platforms as possible.
We would like to make an appeal to our donors to help cover the costs of the satellite should this be something you wish to see continued. Each year we need $60,000 to stay on satellite in North America, $67,000 to cover our commitments in Australia and $16,000 to broadcast in the UK.
To date we have received $9237.32 for our 2025 broadcasting costs. If you can help in any way, it would mean that people will be able to view satellite who also don’t have access to the internet. Our current contract for Galaxy19 has expired and we plan to end satellite transmission for Galaxy 19 on April 30, 2025. However, if we can raise the needed funds by this date, we will be able to continue to transmit.
Through the financial support and feedback coming in, we will be able to make our decision.
If 600 people gave $100 one-time we would have enough to stay on air in North America.
And if they could give another $100 we would have almost enough to cover the same in Australia. Even if you can’t give $100 any amount helps.
