Testimony – Hope Burns shares her experience

Dear Amazing Discoveries Ministry,

At the beginning of the Covid pandemic in 2020, during a telephone conversation with one of my nephews in the United States he mentioned watching Roku television.

I had no idea what Roku was, but we had recently received a television with the word Roku written on it from our daughter, and had stored it away because we do not have cable. When I mentioned this to my nephew he explained that Roku would give me access to a wide range of free programming, and he had me bring the television out of storage and walked me through setting it up.

It is my belief that I was divinely guided to ADTV, because your programming has been life changing. Prior to listening to Dr. Walter Veith and the AD Team I had accepted many erroneous doctrinal beliefs, and what I had been led to believe concerning end-time prophesies in the books of Daniel and Revelation were far from the truth. I became a believer in the Lord Jesus just over thirty years ago, but my husband of fifty years has held firmly to the atheistic belief that there isn’t a Creator and the Bible is fictional. I want you to know that because of your presentations of the truth, backed up by solid historical evidence, my husband’s thinking has changed and he has begun attending church.

I would also like to add that when I first began watching your programs a member of the church I attended informed me that the Seventh Day Adventist movement is apostate. Although I have studied the Bible for many years, I felt it necessary to do an in-depth investigation into the issues this person pointed out, and within a few short months I was able to refute his accusations and confirm the veracity of your teachings.

To the best of my understanding after many years of studying Scripture, the SDA Church teaches the unadulterated and uncompromising truth of the Bible. Much like the protestant reformers centuries ago, your presenters appear willing to lay their lives on the line for God’s Word, whereas many Christian denoninations appear to have little regard for the Truth. While professing to worship the Creator they ignore His instructions given to us in Holy Scripture and give way to human traditions. No wonder the world is in such a sorry state – No God , No Satan – just chaos and confusion.

I might add also, that I now worship on the biblical Sabbath and I recently began attending the local Seventh Day Adventist Church.
